Bernina Workbook 1- Basic Operation
This class is a prerequisite. You must take Workbook 1 before taking Workbook 2. You will learn the basics of needles and threads. In addition, you will have hands-on practice with securing stitches, zigzag stitching, blind hems, triple straight stitch, vari-overlock stitch, buttonholes and more! Bernina Workbook 1A- 7 Series only - (Don't forget to bring your printed copy of Workbook 1A- 7 Series to class) This class is a prerequisite to Workbook 2. You must take Workbook 1A before taking Workbook 2. You will learn the basics of needles and threads. In addition, you will have hands-on practice with securing stitches, zigzag stitching, blind hems, triple straight stitch, vari-overlock stitch, buttonholes, and more! Bernina Workbook 2- Stitching Fun (Don't forget to bring your printed copy of Workbook 2 to class) You will learn about the securing function with decorative stitches, temporary altered memory, satin stitching, pattern functions, balance, memory and combi-mode, alphabets and more! Embroidery Class A (for embroidery machine owners) We will cover layouts and edit screens, hooping, stabilizers, re-sizing, and more. Embroidery Class B (for embroidery machine new owners) You will learn to work with alphabets, duplicating, rotating, moving, mirror image, and more. BSR Mastery (For those who have purchased the BSR) You will learn the basics for setting your machine for the stitch regulator as well as techniques to get you started with free motion stitching.
*Take BSR Mastery only if you purchased the Bernina Stitch Regulator Supplies need for class: For all Workbook New Owner Classes, you will need to bring your machine, all accessories (except embroidery), bright colored-good quality thread, power cord, and foot control. Training Location: All classes are held at Bear Patch Sewing Center, 2193 4th St., White Bear Lake, MN 55110 Reservations are required for all classes. Please call 651-429-6500 to reserve your spot. Please be courteous- if you cannot attend the class you are registered for, please let us know as soon as possible. If you anticiapte being more than 10 minutes late for a class, please call to reschedule. Thank you! Classes should be completed within the first 90 days of purchase. However, we will offer you free classes for up to 1 year from purchase date. All new owners must take Workbook 1 first. The other Workbook classes can then be taken in any order.
