Sue Severiano
I started working at Bear Patch five years ago on a whim. While taking
a class from Laurel, I just happened to ask her if they ever hire people
to work very part time. After five years I’m still here and I still love
it. I work in the quilt shop most Thursday evenings and 2 Saturdays every
month. During the summer months I work daytime hours too. I have been
quilting for about 10 years, and but have been sewing since I was about 10
years old. Since learning to quilt, I have sewn very few garments because
quilting is so rewarding to me. During the day, I teach high school
Spanish, (which I have been doing for 23 years) and in the afternoons, I
do long arm quilting. I love spending time with my family (three children,
one husband and two dogs), working in my garden, and going camping with
family and friends.
