Project and kit fees will be assessed to all members and will vary with the project. A $5 class fee will be assessed for any non-Bear Patch owner. MACHINE EMBROIDERY CLUBS All Makes and Models FANCY STITCHIN’ WORKSHOP If you don’t already have a machine that also embroiders, this 29”
square quilt may convince you to get one! If you do have one, come learn
this fun technique from Smith Street Designs. All these gorgeous stitches
are programmed, so all you have to worry about is which thread to use
next! Designs are 5 1/2” square and are available in art, dst, exp, hus,
jef, pcs, pes, shv, and xxx. You must be able to transfer designs from a
cd to your machine. Rotary experience. Machine pieced. Top only. Limited
number of kits available. EMBROIDERY REFRESHER CLASS Have you been away from your embroidery machine for a while and can’t
seem to get going again? This class is for you. Come to this class to
refresh your memory of threads, needles, stabilizers, and the how to do’s
of embroidery. This class is for owners of the artista 170E, 180E, 165E,
185E, and 200E machines who want to again stitch out those beautiful
designs. All you need to bring is your machine, embroidery module and
accessories. You will be stitching out a built in design from your machine
or if you have a design you wish to use, make sure you have it saved on
your machine or have it on a design card or cd. DIGITIZED BOBBIN EMBROIDERY Learn a creative and fun way to use heavier decorative threads for
machine embroidery. This is called DigiBobbE or Digitized Bobbin
Embroidery by Bonnie Lyn McCaffery. You will need to download the design
you wish to use from the Bernina Web site prior to class. We will supply
the fabrics and decorative thread for you to make a Digitized Bobbin
Embroidered Needle Case. We will also give you hints for great results
using this technique. You will need to purchase an additional bobbin case
for your machine if you don’t already have one. |

DECORATIVE STITCHED KEY FOB Come and have some fun using the decorative stitches on your machine to embellish and make a decorative key fob. This would make a great tie-on gift for birthdays or Christmas. It’s fun, easy and quick to make. You will also learn all about stitch recipes and how to get the best result with decorative stitches.
Calling all Bernina sewing machine owners! Join us to learn about the techniques you can accomplish with Bernina presser feet. Focus on Feet demonstrations of several Bernina presser feet will get you started on your Focus on Feet Reference binder. You should bring your sewing machine and the feet that you own which will be demonstrated so that you can complete your samples in class. If there is a foot you don’t own and wish to try it first before you buy, we will have them ready for you to test drive. This Focus on Feet class will feature #37 and #57, the 1/4” Foot and 1/4” Foot with guide. Other feet will be featured each quarter. Special discounts on feet and the Feetures reference books will be available to class members the day of class. |
